Music Band 4543

Trio cover band based in Cape Town, South Africa. As a group of musicians each having extensive musical performance experience and diverse playing styles, they joined forces in 2020 to create a world-class cover band. They have many musical inspirations that span over different musical genres, including rock and roll, funk, R&B, folk, and pop. Together as friends and loyal bandmates they create a diverse group, musically.

Lead Singer - She has been a professional musician since 2015.
Her experience ranges from duos to 6-piece bands. Her last residency gig was in 2017 and 2018 in The Sheraton Hotel and Resort, Abu Dhabi.

Guitarist/Bassist/Lead Singer:

He began playing music at the age of ten. His unbelievable passion for perfection and love for his art paved the way for a long and successful career, spanning thirty plus years. As a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer, he has worked alongside some of the top artists in the South African music industry, as well as having three top forty hits with his own band Toxic Shame. He started playing music professionally after returning from
the South African Army, travelling South Africa for 4 years playing the Holiday Inn Hotel Group as resident musician, eventually ending up in Johannesburg to form the band. After writing many good original songs they
were offered a recording contract by Universal Music.
Thereafter they moved to Music (4 album releases). They received a number 1 and number 4 on South African Radio Stations.
After the group split, he worked in various live shows at the Carousel and Centre Stage. Shows include Led Zeppelin tribute, AC/DC tribute, Deep Purple tribute, Jet Set, Thunderstruck, Awesome Foursome, Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute and Kick Ass Guitar Show, to name a few. Later, he had performed with Skallabrak which was signed to CDR (2 album releases with Deon) and Station One signed to Scorpio (one album release). He then proceeded to work on many marketing jingles, one being for Coca-Cola.
In 2017 and 2018 he completed a 9-month contract in Abu Dhabi, playing 6 nights a week at the Sheraton Hotel in a duo, later being nominated for best live act in Abu Dhabi. He now runs his own recording studio, Bay Studios, part-time while playing full-time.

Drummer/Keyboardist/Singer:

The heartbeat of the music resides in the drums. When Ruan gets behind the kit and channels this primal energy, you will be transported to circa 1979 where you can dance the night away. You can be assured that the vibe is in good hands. Ruan has performed as a drummer for over 10 years and has also developed the skill of singing and playing the keyboards. He has performed at several of South Africa's top venues and festivals including the Barnyard Theatre, The Daisy Jones and Zeegunst.
He spent the year of 2013 at the Campus of Performing Arts in Cape Town, furthering both his performance style and theoretical knowledge. Dreams mean nothing without hours of dedication and respect for the craft. Ruan has not only spent hours perfecting his skills but has so much love and passion for music that places anyone who meets him in awe.
