Besides that, I have always been swimming and diving for fun. All my life I have used the diving part to improve skills, that I already had learnt from gymnastic. When I was 16 years old I took part in my first competition in tumbling. It was a complete new experience for me to compete. I liked it very much. At the age of 18 I went into my first competition in Teamgym. It was great for me to be in a team, and have the opportunity to do competing and performance gymnastics at the same time. Besides the competing I had for several years being part of a diving show and a mini trampoline show. In both shows the gymnastic elements were mixed up with comedy. That gave me a new dimension of gymnastic; Performance, fun and high gymnastic levels, mixed up with costumes and j oy.
