![]() The Theatre has won numerous awards and produced performances in cooperation with Poland, Germany, Slovakia and Moldova. They are members of the International European Theatre Meeting (IETM), and the International Festivals and Evens Association (IFEA). In 2002 the Theatre presented 151 performances. They hosted the international theatre festival "Golden Lion" visited by numerous theatres from 7 countries. The Theatre accomplished a joint Ukrainian/Polish project "Hiob" supported by "Pro Helvetia" Ukraine. Together with the Sports Society "Dynamo" the Theatre produced the first pyrotechnic show in Ukraine "The Kiss of the Night". In cooperation with French Cultural Centre it presented "Tartuffe" by Moliere. It also organized the song festival "Moloda Halychyna", cultural programme "Vidlunnia" and a concert dedicated to unveiling the monument to Pope John Paul. The Theatre was on a tour in Ukraine (Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv etc.), in Poland (Krakow, Gdansk, Hoinize, Kalish, Leshno etc.) and in Germany (Dortmund). The Theatre works with regional partners, such as: The Agency of Women and Youth, Department of Youth and Tourism of Lviv Regional State Administration, The Department of Culture, The Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Sports Society "Dynamo", Picture Gallery, Society of Theatre Actors of Ukraine and Western Ukrainian Regional Training Centre. "The Fiesta of Bas-Reliefs" Script, Director - Yaroslav Fedoryshyn; Stage design - Anton Lobanov During the last 800 years different historical events have occurred around the Lviv Town Hall. Some of them were mysterious, others full of battle, love, magic and intrigue. All this is brought to life in the performance "The Fiesta of Bas-Reliefs". The performance covers many genres: stilts, drama, movement and circus. Actors create an impressive spectacle using burning torches, water fountains, light and music. Feelings of the personality on the verge of the millennia, eternal fight of good and evil, ray of love in the chaos of today. Live music, diverse costumes, original plastics, aesthetics of modernism and deep national features make this performance a wonderful captivating show with bright pyrotechnical effects. Number of performers: 18 Performance duration: 60 minutes Minimum area: 20 x 30 meters. The performance venue must be surrounded. Installation time: 5 hours Dismantle time: 3 hours Special requirements: 5 children (10 -12 years old) to perform in the show. Also 40 liters of diesel fuel for fire effects, 2 liters of the spirits denaturants. Night time show only. A very large performance with many interesting decorations. Bright pyrotechnical effects make the show exciting and appealing. Number of performers: 20 Minimum area: 50 x 50 metres. Performance duration: 60 minutes Installation time: 6 hours Dismantle time: 4 hours Requirements: 6 local people (16-18 years old) to take part in the performance. "Good-buy, Millennium" has been performed in: 2000 New Year Celebration, Lviv, Ukraine 2000 International Theatre Festival "Golden Lion", Lviv, Ukraine 2001 Theatre Festival "La Strada", Kalisz, Poland 2002 Street Theatre Festival, Lubin, Poland "Danylo Halytskiy" Script, direction, stage-design by Alla Fedoryshyna The history of ancient Lviv is closely connected with the name Danylo Halytskyi. The life of this prominent political actor is fully reflected in this performance. The performance combines many genres: stilts, drama, and movement. Actors create a bright show using water, fireworks, light and music. Number of performers: 30 Performance duration: 1 hour Installation time: 7 hours Dismantle time: 5 hours Danylo Halytskiy has been performed in: 2001 International Street Theatre Festival "Golden Lion", Lviv, Ukraine 2003 The Days Of the City, Lviv, Ukraine "Dreams" A performance for the daytime, aimed at children. A young girl is dreaming about a present. In her dream she is accompanied by the people from fairy tales. A fairy appears in her dream and with her help the girl meets different fairy tale heroes: winter and summer and others. She comes through many adventures, but finally kind heroes from summer present her with a gift, and she is happy about it. This performance is full of people on stilts, there are bright and huge butterflies, and the smoke is used to make it more effective. Plastic scenes of the actors and music create a bright fairy world for the children. Number of performers: 17 Performance duration: 50 minutes Installation time: 3 hours Dismantle time: 2 hours Dreams has been performed in: 2001 Dominican Fair, Gdansk, Poland 2001 International Street Theatre Festival "Golden Lion", Lviv, Ukraine 2002 St Mykola Days, Lviv, Ukraine 2003 Children Festival, Chisinau, Moldova "Gloria" Under symphonic music eight characters on stilts create fairy action which is connected to ritual of fire of different time epoch. Representation bewitches plastics actors where stages of the Apocalypse are played rigidly and in a mad rhythm. The ending of show creates pyrotechnics stages on themes of classical music "Gloria". It is deification of pleasure and a light theme human life’s on the Earth. Performance duration: 50 minutes Installation time: 3 hours Dismantle time: 2 hours "Job" In the performance the texts by Karol Woityla (Pope John Paul II) are used in order to recreate the story of Job. The performance is enriched with active plastic movements and the texts are in the original language. The active role is played by 7 stilt walkers, people from a pre-historic period when the first person on earth was created. The music by Myron Datsko and the choir create a magnificent style intensified by the usage of fire. Number of performers: 13 Performance duration: 1 hour Installation time: 5 hours Dismantle time: 3 hours Performance space: minimum of 20 X 20 meters Optimally an evening time show.
