With sensual poise and graceful movements, Olaa Magdy takes to the stage, entrancing the audience as she manipulates hula hoops choreographed to flow with her body in beautiful rhythm.
Magdy, the Human Mego, is a colorful and comical high-energy illusion. Adults try to visualize exactly where he is inside the costume and kids simply love the visual display of the quadruped slinky as it rolls, sprawls, spills and dances across the stage.
Magdy is a circus performance skill teacher, trainer and technical director in Cairo, Egypt. He has been performing with circuses for more than 40 years.
Magdy trained with some of the best teachers in the world. Including learning acrobatics, tumbling, hand-balancing, and juggling from the legendary Mr. Baoman of the Moscow Circus.
Magdy attended a circus school in Germany, where he received his diploma, and worked as a part of the Duo Mego, the act consisted of ball bouncing, ball spinning, rolling globe, rola bola and devil stick.
After receiving an additional diploma from the school of Circus in Cairo he spent three years performing with the Egyptian National Circus.
