![]() At the age of 7 she debuted with Kharkiv Philharmonic Orchestra. Iryna performed as a piano soloist in recitals in many countries: Finland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Byelorussia, Moldova, Andorra, Belgium, the USA and in many cities of Ukraine. She performed with the symphony orchestras of Kharkiv, Belgorod, Chernygiv, Saratov and with the UW Symphony Orchestra (USA). She has records for the radio, television and CDs. In the period of 2002-2004, Iryna Sapozhnykova studied in the University of Wyoming (USA) and got Piano Performer’s Certificate. She received awards in many International competitions: 1996 — Diploma at the 3’ v. Kraynev International Competition of Young Pianist (Kharkiv, Ukraine) 1997 — Third Prize at IT. Tsvetayeva International Competition (Minsk, Byelorussia) 1997 — Second Prize and Special Prize at K. Filch International Competition (Sibiu, Romania) 1997 - Special Prize at Dvorzhak 1st International Competition (Przhybram, Czech Republic) 1997 - Second Prize Laureate at E. Koki International Competition (Kishinev, Moldova) 1998 - Third Prize Laureate at All-Ukrainian Show-Competition (Kirovograd, Ukraine) 1998 — Grand-Prix at 1st Chopin International Festival of Young Pianists (Kishinev, Moldova) 1999 — First Prize at International Competition “XXI Century: (Kyiv, Ukraine) 2000 Winner of “New Names of Ukraine” program (Kyiv, Ukraine) 2000 — Fourth Prize ofthe 1st Governor’s International Piano Competition (Saratov, Russia) 2000 - Second Prize and Special Prize at K.
