 Playing Pop/Rock/Soul hits from the 60's to today's charts; Party & Function Band "V" provides a hi-energy, enthusiastic & professional performance featuring some of the best young talent in south, UK. The band has played at top 4 and 5 star hotels including Madinat Jumeirah 5 Star Resort (Dubai); Pennyhill Park 5 Star Hotel (nr. Fleet); Phyllis Court Country Club (Henley-on-Thames); Oulton Hall DeVere 5 star Hotel (Leeds); The Ashford International Hotel (Ashford); The Marriott Hotel (Portsmouth); Raddison SAS (Liverpool); The Majestic Hotel (Harrogate). Performances for significant companies including: Deloitte, EC Harris, YMCA. They have also entertained at countless private wedding receptions and birthday parties and have worked as resident band aboard P&O ship "The Pride of Hull". When you book Party & Function Band "V" you can expect: A large 1KW JBL Professional sound system. We use on stage microphones to capture the sounds of all the instruments and put this through our pro sound system so that you get the best possible sound in the audience. Stage lighting: colour and light to really emphasize and bring the performance alive visually. An entirely LIVE performance. We don't use backing tracks! Pre-recorded music in between live sets. For longer events we normally recommend a DJ, but for events where a DJ is not required we can provide some party music to fill all the gaps. Your first 2 requests (inc first dance) learnt at no extra cost. Party & Function Band "V" are happy to accept suggestions from our current set list in advance so we make certain we play the songs you want on the night. Tom Williams - Band Leader (Lead Vocals & Bass & Acoustic Guitar) After being invited to sing on a 3 month party band tour in the French Alps (Jan - April 2006, Gigz management), lead vocalist Tom returned to the UK focused on becoming band leader of his own party band: Party & Function Band "V". Prior to this Tom had been performing covers and originals regularly around London and the south of England whilst studying for a BA (hons) at the University of Southampton. Tom's confident and energetic performance is complemented perfectly by his powerful and unique vocal talent. Rachel Cooper - (Saxophone & Keyboards & Vocals & Clarinet) Rachel developed her musical talent after being awarded a full music scholarship to Cranleigh School in Surrey. In 2003 she won the 'Helen Wareham' competition for Musician of the Year. In 2007 Rachel graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Music from the University of Southampton. She became principal saxo phonist of the University Jazz Orchestra where she played alongside such artists as Finn Peters and Mark Lockhart. In the past few years Rachel has toured much of Europe including the Czech Republic, Croatia, Switzerland, Malta and Turkey. Kristina Bradford - (Lead Vocals & Keyboards) As well as performing cover songs all over the UK; Kristina has performed, written and worked in the studio with some top UK name artists and producers over the last 5 years. Credits to her name include: supporting Lemar, G4, 911 and The Cheeky Girls at shows around the UK; Co-producing some of her own original songs with UB33 Productions (writers of 'Flip Reverse', no. 1 hit for UK group Blazing Squad); being invited to write material with K-Warren (Who has had a no. 1 UK Garage hit with 'Something in your eyes'); Recording jingles with Allan Murray (Sky Sports) which have aired on BBC Radio 1, Capital FM and other south-coast stations. Craig Davis - (Drums & Vocals) Craig first picked up a pair of drum sticks at the age of six, and has followed his burning ambition to be a drummer ever since. More recently Craig has performed with the likes of Chad Smith, Skunk Anansie and Brand New Heavies, to name a few, whilst studying for 3 BTEC Diplomas in music performance and production at The Academy of Contemporary music (ACM), Guildford. Craig's live experience spans Music festivals, live sessions for BBC and local radio stations, and work with an independent label based in London. Richard Cruden - (Lead Guitar & Vocals) Since first picking up the guitar, aged 7, Richard has obtained an extensive back ground in the music industry playing his 6 string in practically every format there is. With performances at festivals, touring abroad, live gigs, studio sessions, BBC radio and even playing in front of Jimmy Page and Brian May, Richard is a very seasoned player. His studies include a music performance/business HND at the prestigious Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) and achieving 'guitarist of the year award' in the same year. Tony Blackwell - (Keyboards & Bass & Acoustic Guitar & Vocals) Multi-instrumentalist Tony has a degree in music from Southampton University. Tony has played with so many different bands across the south and on so many different instruments it gets hard to keep track! He is truly one of the most versatile musicians "V" has ever worked with.
