"Paris Band" is comprised of musicians from around the world. The singer and gem of the group, Kelly Johnson, hails from England. She started singing and dancing at age 16 travelling throughout England and Spain and finally continuing on cruise ships exploring the US and Caribbean. The trio backing Kelly is led by Gabriel Jonas, pianist from Slovakia. As a self taught protegee of the great jazz painists from the past, Gabriel brings so much knowledge and influence to the group. He has played in numerous hotels, cruise ships, and jazz festivals, as well as, playing with big bands, orchestras and with top names throughout Europe. Bassist James DeSantis is from Richmond, Virginia, USA. Starting at a late age of 19, he has blossomed into a young master. WIth his own credits of festivals, recordings and cruises, he enjoys most playing in smaller venues to intimate crowds. The beat of the group is Polish drummer Mirek Sitkowski. A versatile drummer, he has made his name in Europe by playing in circuses, festivals, cruise ships, and numerous clubs, backing the best musicians.
