Cubana, a group founded in 1997 in Matanzas, a city that is an example of culture & tradition. From their beginning Cubana has been a feminine group, characterized by the work of voices and the fondness for musical fineness, which create a special atmosphere full of sensuality wrapped in musical notes. This musical group has an extensive and varied line of work, mostly devoted to play the son and Cuban music, as its main objective, but also finding a versatility of rhythms and lyrics worthy of listening. A professional and well-qualified group, with a wide dancing repertoire and a great quantity of classic themes performed with a completely instrumental accompaniment, will make you enjoy an unforgettable time when you can also appreciate a musical fusion which will be the final touch to the musical world that surrounds you. Nowadays, Cubana is formed by 4 professional musicians who harmonize perfectly to achieve an exquisite work. A male voice recently added to the group includes force and support for a great show, where you will find a musical and charismatic performance that transforms a small format into a great orchestra, full of flavour, smiles and a music as nice as a beautiful dream. Cubana, located in Varadero, an important tourist area, has performed in different Hotel chains such as Barceló, Sol Meliá, Iberostar and Super Clubs and has been hired to perform in different countries in various occasions. They had different presentations in Qatar in the year 2000 and returned successively in 2001 2002 for a period of 5 months, later on they went to Jordan, to Hotel chains as outstanding as the Hilton, Marriott, Ritz Charlton. Their last presentation abroad was in Beijing, China, where they worked during 3 months at a beautiful restaurant belonging to the chain Trader's Vic’s. At the moment, Cubana has been performing at the Melia Varadero Hotel for 2 years and it is recognized by their happiness and their music.
