Stream Strings Quartet

Alexey Dubovyk - Violin
Alexey attended the State University of Arts in Harkov. During his 5 years of study he also performed in cabaret venues as well as in a government program that supported Ukrainian folk music.

After graduation in 2000, Alexey moved to the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. Since then he has performed in the band "The Romantic Trio" (Violin, Acoustic Guitar, and Button Accordion). The repertoire consists of popular classics, evergreen melodies, music from motion pictures, light jazz (swing mostly), and folk music. The Romantic Trio has played:

Another Alexey project is "A Little Bit Gipsy". This musical program is a mix of classical, gypsy cabaret and gypsy swing, such as: "Gipsy Tunes" by Pablo Sarasate, "Chardash by Monty", "Hungarian Dance by Bhrams", "Whistle Hora", "Waltz Pizzicato", "Skylark", "Hora Staccato", "Honeysuckle Rose", "Jealousy", "Lady Be Good" and "Just a Paper Moon" done in Stepfan Grappelly Style (gipsy swing);
Finally, for dessert, three famous Russian songs, "Dark Eyes", "Moscow Nights" and "Kalinka".

Other songs in Alexey's repertoire are compositions such as:
"Bessame Muchio", "Espana Cani", "La Spagnola", "Funiculi Funicula", "Arrivederchi Roma", "The Godfather", "Love Story", "Under Paris's Sky", "Sense Of The Woman", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Lara's Theme (from Doctor Zgivago movie)", "Greek Zorba's Dance (Sirtaki)", "Rozamunde (Beer Barel Polka)", "Clarinet Polka", "Green Sleeves", "Four Seasons (by Vivaldi)", and many others.

Kateryna Dubovyk - Violin
Kateryna graduated from the State University of Arts in Harkov in 1999. In her years of study she took part in concerts; performed in night-clubs and restaurants as soloist.

Later, in Kiev, Kateryna began to work in an ensemble of folk and popular music "Perlina". With this band Kateryna repeatedly performed in international festivals in Sen-gelen (Belgium), Izegem (Belgium), Pily (Poland), and other locations. She also performs as a soloist and has recorded two CD's. Kateryna works at Music School #5 in Kiev as a teacher of Violin.

Aleksey Gorovoy - Viola
Aleksey graduated from the National Music Academy in Donetsk. His work experience includes: Symphony Orchestra of the Theatre of Musical Drama in Donetsk; Donetsk Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra; and since 2006 he has worked in a string Quartet for "Holland America" Cruise Lines.

Oksana Venger - Cello
Oksana graduated from the National Music Academy in Kiev. She performed for several years in the National Organ and Chamber music hall and currently performs for the State Orchestra of TV and Radio.
