Ruby is a solo, mainly improvisational, bellydancer who is able to perform in a wide variety of settings to either recorded or live music.

She is accustomed to performing choreography as well as improvisational style in clubs for extended multiple shows or single sets up to one hour with costume and prop changes.

Her energetic performances blend modern Turkish styling with an American Classic flair; she is known for her amazing floor dancing and fluidity in movement.

Ruby enjoys working with finger cymbals, veil, double veil, 4-yard veil, goblets, sword and Gypsy stylization.

Ruby currently performs regularly in Seattle's top clubs and stage shows with live bands as well as recorded music. She has performed regularly with House of Tarab as well as guest performances with MB Orchestra, Selim Sesler and Omar Farouk Tekbeilek.

Ruby has recently won several competitive titles including:
2008 East Coast Bellydance Classic "Grand Champion" and "Peoples Choice"
2008 Emerald Rain Bellydance Contest "1st Place" 2008 Bellydancer USA "1st Runner Up"
2007 Double Crown "Gypsy Stylist"

Ruby is a highly trained and certified Pilates instructor, she has been bellydancing for nine years and has traveled extensively to learn from the best dancers available. Over the past two years Ruby has spent 10 weeks intensively studying Oriental Bellydance and performing in Istanbul.
