Maria & Javier

Javier and Maria are professional Tango dancers from Buenos Aires.

They started their career performing at milongas (tango dance halls) in Buenos Aires and Uruguay. They are one of the few couples in the world who perform the so-called Tango Nuevo professionally. Its bases are to analize the structure of the dance and to use the compensation of your partners body action in order to truly improvise without force, from the basics to the more complex secuences.
Together they have being working since 1998, giving workshops and exhibitions in tango dance halls around the world, dancing in tango shows and important hotels.
