Elena and Gennady's professional development came from the instruction of Aivars Bachkin, Latvia, Aleksej Titarenkov, Ukraine, and Jurij Pisarenko, Russia. Elena end Gennady became the first magicians in Latvian history to get financial support from the state government to further their training abroad. Today they continue attending seminars and congresses outside of the Baltic States.

In 1997 they took part in an International festival "Magic Chestnut '97", in Ukraine and took 1st place. The next year brought another victory - 1st prize in the international festival of Czech Republic "Prague '98". Elena and Gennady earned 'five of the best European magicians' of 2000 in Zurich. Elena and Gennady were the first in Europe to perform an outdoor flight at 10 meters high.

Elena and Gennady were invited to XXV International congress for magicians in Lodz, Poland. Elena and Gennady received the invitation from the president of the Poland club of magicians, Mr. Jerzy Stanek. Elena and Gennady are members of the Moscow club of illusionists, Berlin club of illusionists, International brotherhood of magicians of USA (Russia branch), Poland club of magicians and Lithuanian club of illusionists (Gests of honor).
