Johan

Mr. Johan started performing at the age of thirteen as a juggler and fire-eater. Educated at the circus-school of Sweden 95-98, he received NCCs och Furuvikparkens Grand Circus scholarship 2000, and has since achieved distinction.

Nominated as artist of the year 2004 by the Swedish Event Academy, Johan has worked with street-theatre, theatre, circus and variety touring Europe and Australia. Has taken part in numerous productions within the circus, variety and theatre fields, both touring and stationary.

Johan performs 4 different types of solo shows

Street-show
Duration: 40 minutes
Conditions: Street performance best presented in an open outdoor area.

Mr. Johan has the ability to transform a square into a theatre and create an audience out of nothing; the show takes form and grows together with the audience! Johan's street-show is created around high standard juggling acts using comedy as its framework. It is with a sharp but humble humor that Johan makes fun of himself and the spectators.

Fraktgods
Duration: 75 minutes without intermission
Conditions: Suitable for a theatre-technically equipped premises with complete black-out possibilities and a competent crew. Stage minimum: 7 meters wide, 5 meters deep, 5 meters free height. Light & sound: Supplied by the presenter. Rigging: 7 hours Load-out: 2 hours.

Johan ships himself and his show in a large box, always ready to kick-start the Grand Circus show.

Mt. Johan Unplugged
Duration: 20-60 minutes (Adjustable)
Conditions: Suitable for most premises with at least a 5 meter ceiling height. Stage minimum: 6 meters wide, 5 meters deep and 5 meters free height. light & sound: simple light supplied by the presenter. Fire is used in this show. Rigging: 1 hour Load-out: 30 minutes.

A dynamic fast moving show where Johan takes centre stage with a mixture of high voltage circus skills and witty comedy, all delivered with a twinkle in his eye. A steamroller show that gets straight to the point leaving the audience grasping for air and their jaws on the floor.

Solo Suitcase
Duration: 30 minutes (Adjustable)
Conditions: Can be performed virtually anywhere. Very simple no preparations must be made.

Big show in a pocketsize! One man and a suitcase, with five clubs, a camera, a handkerchief. And a� Mr. Johan's smallest show quickly takes unforeseen proportions and is really about the Big Circus-trick, but seems more and more to revolve around a lot of trouble. Sharp and witty comedy spellbinds the audience and takes them in an iron grip through the entire show!
