"Samuel Acrobats"
Accra, Ghana

Their performance in creative acrobatics, accompanied by live African drumming and folk music, have won audience hearts, both local and international. This group has been recognized by the Ghana National Commission on Culture, The Art Center and the Ghana Dance Association since 1998.

The "Samuel Acrobats" repertoire includes: Limbo shows, Yoga shows, Combination shows (human pyramids), Free style, Multiple breaking, fire shows (fire eating and bathing) and more. Many of these feats can be traced back to their ancestral heroism when, during various occasions, skills and talent were demanded.

The group currently consists of five members who demonstrate each act in a different colorful costumes, tailoring the performance to meet the desires of client and audience.

Samuel Acrobats are divided into two categories of artiste, the 'Senior squad'- those above twenty years of age and the 'Junior Battalion' - those below twenty years of age. This division has ensured the continuity of our culture. These artists have participated in a number of local and international programs:
